Recruitment in Your Home Country

Your journey to becoming a professional truck driver in Germany starts in your home country.

VISABEE works with trusted local partner agencies who guide candidates through the first steps of the process. They check your profile, your professional background, your motivation, and your general suitability for working as a bus driver in Germany.

As part of this early selection process, all candidates take a practical driving skills assessment in their home country. This helps us understand your driving experience, your level of confidence behind the wheel, and your suitability for the next steps in the program.

Only candidates who meet the relevant requirements and show the necessary driving skills will move forward in the process. This ensures that your journey to Germany is based on a realistic assessment from the very beginning.

VISABEE also recruits bus drivers in groups of ten or more candidates. This means that you will not go through the process alone. From the early preparation phase to the driving school process in Germany, you will usually be part of a group of internationa l drivers who are taking the same steps.

How the Process Works

1. Application through a Local Partner
  
  Your journey begins with one of our trusted local partner organizations in your home country. They will guide you through the first steps.
2. Assessment of Your Qualifications
  
  Together with our partners, we assess your education, professional experience, language skills, and suitability for available opportunities.
3. Introduction to Employers
  
  Qualified candidates are introduced to selected hospitals, radiology centers, and healthcare providers in Germany.
4. Employment Offer
  
  Following successful interviews, you receive an employment offer from your future employer.
5. Recognition and Immigration Procedures
  
  VISABEE coordinates all necessary administrative processes, including recognition procedures, visa applications*, and other required documentation.
6. Preparation Course and Arrival
  
  After your arrival in Germany, you begin working while simultaneously participating in the professional preparation program for the knowledge examination.
7. Full Professional Recognition
  
  After successfully passing the examination, you receive full professional recognition and can continue building your career in Germany.

Your Path to Driving in Germany

To work as a professional truck driver in Germany, international candidates usually need to complete the German driving licence process.

Although this is often referred to as a licence conversion, in practice it usually means that important parts of the driving licence process must be completed again in Germany. This includes mandatory theoretical and practical driving lessons as well as th e required examinations.

VISABEE takes this process into account from the very beginning. When we match you with an employer, the steps required to obtain your German driving licence are already considered and planned as part of your overall pathway to working in Germany.

The costs of the driving licence process are covered by your future employer. This gives you financial security and allows you to focus on your preparation, training, and successful start in Germany.

Please note that both the theoretical and practical parts of the driving school process take place in German. This means that German language skills are an important part of your preparation and your future success as a professional truck driver in Germany.

You will not go through this process alone. Because VISABEE recruits truck drivers in groups of ten or more candidates, you will usually attend driving school together with other international drivers who are going through the same steps. You can support each other, learn together, and start your new life in Germany as part of a group.

VISABEE works with certified driving schools across Germany and supports the coordination of your training, examinations, and next steps together with your employer.

Please note many German employers are looking for drivers with additional qualifications and experience.
