GUIDED IMMIGRATION FOR RADIOLOGY TECHNICIANS
Working as an MTR in Germany (MTR Deutschland) – Your Path with VISABEE
Who is this program for?
Our program is designed for international Medical Radiology Technicians (MTR) (Anerkennung MTR) from non-EU countries who have not yet signed an employment contract in Germany – whether you are still abroad or already living in Germany.
If you do not yet meet all the requirements, we can add you to our waiting list with your consent until you are ready to start.
What we offer – Qualification & Recognition as an MTR in Germany (Arbeiten als MTR in Deutschland)
With VISABEE, you immediately start with a secure job placement while completing a tailored qualification for the recognition as an MTR in Germany (Qualifizierung MTR):
- Professional title & workplace: From day one, we guide you through obtaining the official professional title of MTR in Germany (Anerkennung MTR Deutschland) – combined with a permanent job.
- Qualification with salary: Over eight months, you prepare part-time online for the knowledge exam for MTR (Kenntnisprüfung MTR). At the same time, you are already employed and receive a full salary.
- Recognized examination partner: The exam takes place in cooperation with the oldest MTR school in Germany, the Dr. Gillmeister School at the Westküstenklinikum in Heide.
Why Germany needs Radiology Technicians (MTR)
By 2030, Germany will face a shortage of around 3,300 MTR. Yet, there are very few structured programs preparing international professionals for the MTR knowledge exam (Kenntnisprüfung MTR).
VISABEE offers a unique solution: a complete process from one source, with legal certainty, clear timelines, and social security – based on the principles of fair recruitment.
Conditions and costs – no fees for international MTR (internationale MTR)

For international MTRs, there are no costs involved:
- Thanks to our AZAV certification, the qualification is free of charge and financed through education vouchers (Bildungsgutschein).
- You start in a permanent position before the qualification begins, with full salary and guidance from VISABEE.
- This enables you to build your life in Germany from day one.
